The main Doñana Visitor Centre is located some 11 kms south of El Rocío and only 4 away from Matalascañas.

A restaurant, a souvenir shop, a video room and an exhibition room are its main facilities. This is the best place to get books and other printed material on Doñana.

From the beautiful Andalusian hacienda you can start a 4.5 km long path to look over the lagoons and walk through the pine forests.

Its picnic area is one of the best spots in the region for the Azure-winged Magpie.
