Doñana Natural Site is a very restricted and controlled
area. Visitors are only allowed in certain routes and trails specially
design not to produce negative effects on ecosystems and species. These
are as follows:
- 3 Official Guided Tours:
Organized by authorized and concessionary private companies.
- South Route, along the beach between Matalascañas and
Sanlucar de Barrameda and through the southern forest and mobile sand
dunes, from Acebuche Visitor Centre.
- North Route, through the northern forests and marshes,
from El Rocío - Boat
Route, along the Guadalquivir River with stops on both
banks, from Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Booking required for all of them.
- 9 Information and Visitor Centres, most of them offer
information, exhibitions and self guided trails. Free entrance and
leaflets.
- Acebuche,

western section of the Natural Park.

Besides those next to Acebuche, Acebron and La Rocina Visitor Centres already mentioned there is also:
- Dune Trail (1,5 km), next to Matalascañas. See more

- Laguna de Ribetehilos (1,2 km), in the western section
of the Natural Park, near Mazagón.
- Cuesta Maneli (1,2 km), also in
the western section of the Natural Park, between Matalascañas and
Mazagón. -
Laguna del Jaral (5,6 km),
also in the western section of the
Natural Park, near
Matalascañas.
- Cerro del Águila (5,6 km), in the eastern section of
the Natural Park, near Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
- 3 Long Trails. You are also allowed to walk along the Raya Real
(east of El Rocío), Camino de Moguer (along the northern banks of La
Rocina Stream) and along the beaches of the National Park up to Sanlúcar
de Barrameda. No vehicles allowed without authorization.
