- Laguna del Jaral
 |
This
is a rounded trail of about 5.5 km of medium difficulty. It
begins at the kilometric point 46 of the road H - 492 Huelva -
Matalascañas. There is a small car park next to a metallic gate
that you will have to open and close behind you. The sandy track
will take you first around the seasonal Lagoon of La Jara and
then up to the top of the Sand Dunes of Asperillo. |
Then
you will walk down to a small mobile dunes next to some
impressive sandy cliffs and the beach. Beautiful
views of the immense green carpet of Pine forests, the dunes and
the beaches. Specially good on dune vegetation and Warblers. |

- Cuesta Maneli
|
This is an easy 1.2 km
long board path that also goes from the same road H - 492
(kilometric point 39) to the top of the dune, lower here, and
then down to the beach.
There is a good car park
at the beginning of the trail, controlled in high season.

- Laguna de Ribetehilos
|
This is an easy round
board path of about 1.3 km that goes all around the Lagoon of
Ribetehilos and its rosary of adjacent small lagoons.
Specially recommended in
the rainy season when the lagoons are flooded.
Recently the access and
signposting to the trail from the H - 492 has been improved. |

- Poblados Forestales (Forestry Villages)
 |
This itinerary has been design
for mountain bikes. It will take you some 2 - 3 hours to
complete this easy trail.
Its some 20 km long and
goes trough several abandoned forestry villages where one goes
back in times where hundreds of families lived here and worked
in the newly created eucalyptus plantations. Today most of them
have been replaced by Stone Pine. |

The best place to start
from is Cabezudos Forestry Village, some 13 kms south of Almonte
on the H - 6248.

- Arrayán
|
A walking trail of about
5.6 km through an easy terrain covered with Stone Pine
plantations.
The starting point is at
the Camping Site Arrayán, in the local road connecting Hinojos
and El Rocío.

- Marismas del Gudalquivir (Guadalquivir Marshes)
 |
A cycling trail of about 65km
that will take you through the transformed and natural marshes
on dirt tracks.
A good starting point would be the Venta
del Cruce at the junction of the roads SE - 659 and SE - 666
south of La Puebla del Río.
It is a very good itinerary for
birdwatching so you can |

easily spend the whole day
exploring the area.
Eventually you will get to
Jose Antonio Valverde Visitor Centre where you will find
toilettes and a bar for snacks and refreshments. |

- Pinar de la Algaida
 |
A walking trail of about 5.6 km
that goes through a dense Stone Pine forest.
From the car park you will get first to
the Laguna del Tarelo, one of the best spots in the region for
the White-headed Duck.

| Barrameda.
