Gastronomic tour in Matalascañas
fish, meat and the sea
The coastal urbanization of Matalascañas, built between the juniper and pine forests in the Doñana National Park and the endless beaches of fine white sand lapped by the Atlantic Ocean are well worth a visit.
Our proposal consists of a dinner composed by a selected number of dishes served in various establishments in Matalascañas, combined with a previous tour of the town to visit the most interesting places in their surroundings and enjoy the sun setting over the sea. If you are interested in birds, we will also spend some time watching the most interesting species along the beach that day.
Are you one of those who like to enjoy the best cuisine of the places you visit, but you usually have no knowledge of where and what to eat? Then we’ve thought of you.
We offer a tour of the most interesting places in Matalascañas, combined with a dinner consisting of a selection of the best dishes in the best local restaurants of the town.
We’ll meet you about 2 hours before dinner for a nice tour of the surroundings. We will visit the embryonic dunes and beaches of the National Park, Torre de la Higuera, an ancient coastal watchtower, the Dune Park and the Asperillo Cliffs, from where we will enjoy great views and sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
In addition, our guide will inform you about the history of Matalascañas, its origins and its present linked to the National Park and any other topic of your interest.
Later for dinner, we will offer a selected choice of the famed seafood from Huelva Coast and samples of the also renowned Iberian meat from Sierra de Aracena. You will taste both, recipes of our traditional gastronomy, and from the already established modern cuisine, which also has a place in our proposal. All it accompanied with a taste of some of the best wines of the county and the region.

things they learned and how easy
was to understand him.”

Antonio in Doñana. It is appreciated when
people love their work, enjoy teaching
others all they know and do not have any
hurry to finish. And furthermore the
equipment was just perfect, telescope, binos
and field guides were of a great help to us.”

was the highlight of our visit to
Andalusia. Not only for the 100 species
of birds we saw, but also because of the
interesting information from the guide
on Doñana’s ecology and history. It was
an unforgettable experience for us.”
